So, How does the cage front seed hopper work?
The Hopper base is designed to have the vertical bars slotted into position as pictured. Exact position depends on your cage front size (12.7mm (1/2 inch) or 16mm (5/8 inch)). It may be necessary to have the base located with the middle bar placed directly in the centre gap.
The central lugs at the bottom of the Hopper base are designed to slide snuggly into the Hopper tube base as shown. (hopper assembly shown without cage front for illustration purposes in this picture)
Cage Front Seed Hopper shown in situ. As demonstrated, NO cutting of the bars is required and there is ample room to allow the seed to flow freely. Please note that the Hoppers are designed to sit on a horizontal bar to support the weight.
